If you do try again w aquarium salt, here is how i would go about doing it: aquarium salt will heal fungal infections while decreasing stress by helping the fish produce their slime coat, and helping them breath easier. I have a hunch that your fish isn’t healing because it’s very stressed out between all the meds and the large water changes. put activated carbon into your filter (which u were probably already doing between new treatments?) but make sure ALL medication is out of your tank. I would recommend starting over with aquarium salt. How were you treating with aquarium salt? aquarium salt is always what i use for fungal infections, i’ve dealt with it a couple times and it hasn’t failed me yet. that completely destroys the cycle and kills off all beneficial bacteria i believe. I’m actually shocked that you were told to dose your main tank with methylene blue. i mean stress alone can cause fungal infections as it lowers their immune system. Perhaps all these treatments have been too stressful for your goldfish.
